As a Clinical Outpatient Program Manager, you will provide management and supervision within the FSR Outpatient Mental Health Clinic by supervising employees, performing program evaluation and development as well as collaborating and coordinating with agency partners. This position also ensures that services are responsive to client needs by incorporating best practices consistent with professional standards and ethics.
You will do this by:
- Providing training and clinical supervision for assigned staff that ensures ethical standards and clinical practice is aligned with research.
- Assuring assigned program staff adhere to the program and personnel policies and procedures.
- Conducting employee evaluations and development recommendations regarding performance, professional goals, advancement, compensation, etc.
- Monitoring program records and activity to track program inputs, outputs, and outcome information to ensure programs are meeting established agency and contracted goals of program performance and budget expectations.
- Reviewing client records for compliance and completing quarterly case audits.
- Maintaining a close liaison with collaborative partners, community agencies, and the community at large as related to the activities of the programs assigned.
- Coordinating master level clinical internship placements. Supervises students as needed.
- Delivering outreach/presentations as requested to promote the availability of services, clinical expertise and staff/volunteer recruitment. Including responding to media requests.
- Working closely with intake and reception to ensure that barriers to services for clients are reduced or eliminated.
- Carrying a psychotherapy caseload as defined by the agency.
Successful candidates must possess a master's degree in a human service field and independent licensure in the state of Minnesota as a Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LP) and must be an approved Clinical Supervisor by respective professional board. Must have three years of professional experience, plus demonstrable competence in program management or supervision. Training and experience working with a broad array of clinical presentations and diverse populations. Including but not limited to trauma treatment modalities, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, child and adolescent therapy, and family therapy. Must show competence in written, verbal communications, and skill in working with individuals and groups.
The knowledge of applicable research, best-practice strategies, and a high level of clinical acumen is required as is the ability to work effectively with all client and professional populations and have the ability to work within a team environment, and effectively communicate with colleagues, co-workers and clients. Must have a working knowledge of State of Minnesota regulations and Minnesota Health Care Programs.
Must have a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation covered by insurance to use for work purposes. Willingness and ability to work additional time if needed to meet critical deadlines.
